Thermal Pipe Insulation

Aerolam XLPE Pipe Insulation is a cross-linked, closed-cell polyethylene foam designed specifically for thermal control in pipe systems. With factory-bonded Alupet foil facing, this product minimises heat transfer and effectively controls condensation in HVAC, chilled water, and hot water applications. Manufactured to global standards, it is flexible, durable and easy to install.

Applications:

  • HVAC ductwork and chilled / hot water pipework
  • Residential, commercial, and industrial pipe insulation
  • Pre-slit pipe segments for quick fit around pipework.
  • Suitable for copper and stainless steel pipes.

Features:

  • Available in 2m pipe segments with pre-slit design for simple installation
  • Alupet foil facing provides condensation protection and a neat finish
  • Chemically cross-linked closed-cell polyethylene foam
  • Operating temperature range of -20 °C to +110 °C
  • Low thermal conductivity (~ 0.0329–0.0382 W/m·K) for high insulation efficiency
  • Very low water vapour permeability; excellent moisture barrier
  • Resistant to fungi, bacteria, and many chemicals
  • Zero CFC / HCFC; environmentally friendly foam with low VOC
  • Fire-performance tested: Rated EN 13501 B-S1 equivalent to ISO 9705 1-S
  • Flexible “memory effect” retains shape after compression
