Closed Cell Elastomeric Foam Rubber

ATI is designed for hot, cold and dual-temperature pipework. It provides effective thermal insulation at a competitive initial cost, helping reduce energy loss. The neutral-acidity material has low water-soluble trace ions and is suitable for stainless steel and copper pipework.

ATI Fire Performance

ATI Thermal Insulation has been independently tested to recognised New Zealand and Australian fire testing standards to demonstrate compliance with the New Zealand Building Code requirements for fire safety.

AS/NZS 1530.3:1999 Fire Hazard Indices
Testing was carried out by AWTA Product Testing on flexible nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) thermal insulation intended for pipe insulation. Six specimens were tested, with no specimens igniting during testing.

NZBC Group Number Classification
ATI Thermal Insulation has also been assessed by BRANZ in accordance with ISO 5660 and NZBC Verification Method C/VM2 Appendix A.

The product has achieved a NZBC Group 3 Classification
This classification is determined in accordance with the New Zealand Building Code requirements for fire safety design.
