New Zealand Master Plumbers Awards: Jackson Women in Plumbing Award

Presented by Master Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers NZ, The Jackson Women in Plumbing award recognises women who have made an outstanding contribution to the plumbing, gasfitting or drainlaying industry.

The award is named in honor of Maureen Jackson (1941 – 2020) who was the Wife and Business Partner of Ian Jackson MNZM. In 1987, Ian and Maureen established Allproof Industries NZ Ltd.

Pest Free Kaipātiki (PFK)

Pest Free Kaipātiki (PFK) is a local umbrella organisation that works with the community and partner organisations, through activities aimed at native habitat restoration and protection. PFK connects community with the tools, knowledge and support needed to restore and enhance our local natural environment.

Allproof provide annual support to PFK through donations that have been used to extend their solar system helping PFK save 20 Tonnes of CO2 every year.

Allproof also support PFK through staff getting involved in events and planting days that enhance and protect the natural environment of our local community.

The Tania Dalton Foundation

Now in it’s 7th year the Tania Dalton Foundation was established to honour the legacy of Tania and to help young sports women reach their goals in high performance sport.

Currently 87 young women have been part of our three year scholarship programme which provides financial and mentoring support as well as a unique sisterhood they can be part of.

Allproof proudly supports Tiana Landon through the Tania Dalton Foundation Scholarship Programme. Tiana is a very talented woman with a wealth of achievements and awards in volleyball and her academic studies.

Birkenhead United

Allproof proudly support Birkenhead United, a volunteer-led football club based at Shepherds Park in Beach Haven, draws players primarily from the Beach Haven, Birkdale, Northcote, Birkenhead, Chatswood, and Glenfield areas, though participants come from across Auckland to join the club’s programs. Birkenhead United has approximately 1500+ registered players aged from 5 years old through to 50+ catering to the entire community with junior, women’s and men’s teams.
 
Founded as Birkenhead in 1960 and merging with Birkdale in 1963 to become Birkenhead United, the club has a rich history. In 2023 Birkenhead United’s home underwent a $2.8M upgrade as part of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Legacy fund.
